IM Canada (Simulation)
The 2019 IRONMAN Canada bike course is a challenging 2+ loop course featuring long and gradual climbs.
The challenge on this course doesn’t come from any particularly steep climbs, but rather being consistent and controlled with your power over the long hills. Shifting and using the right gearing will be keys to success on this scenic course.
Total Distance: 112 miles (180km)
Total Elevation: ~7,890′ (2,405m)
Bring your own bike, bike shoes, and preferred nutrition. The SOUND Cycling Studio has water and towels available for all riders, and a bathroom is available for that unexpected pit-stop!
IRONMAN University, USA Triathlon, and/or USA Cycling Certified Coaches will be available to help you pace your efforts, and give advice throughout the ride!
Riding indoors ensures that you have a safe and efficient ride. There’s no need to worry about sticking with a group or getting dropped. We’re always together no matter how fast or slow you ride!
If you have a trainer-friendly skewer, please put it on your bike prior to arrival.
Please arrive 20 minutes early so we can get your bike setup, and we can all be ready to ride on time.
